Iona Singleton

is a somatic psychologist and creative based in New York City. She works clinically with Newus Clinic in London, Backline Care internationally, OnPoint NYC, and as a program affiliate with Nordoff Robbins Music Therapy, NYU. Trained in somatic therapy, art therapy, Ayurveda and herbal medicine, yoga and trauma-informed embodied practices. With an MSc in Psychology, she is currently pursuing her Doctorate in Counselling Psychology & Existential Psychotherapy with New School of Psychotherapy & Counselling and Middlesex University, while also training with Gabor Maté.

Her early career bridged music and mental health, touring internationally with King Crimson and consulting for the non-profit Sounds of Saving, producing films that opened dialogue on artists’ mental health beyond clinical settings.

She founded Within Without in 2020, a publication series created alongside friend and musician Bill Rieflin. The project evolved into a creative community exploring the theme Legacy of Love in 2022, and hosts trauma-informed workshops worldwide.
